【 Company News 】 The 2024 Hong Kong Corporate Governance?&?ESG?Excellence Awards, jointly sponsored by the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies and Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy (CCGFP) of Hong Kong Baptist University, was successfully held in Hong Kong on Dec.12th,2024. Global New Material International Holdings won Award of Excellence in ESG(Environmental,Social and Governance)for outstanding performance in ESG strategy, environmental protection, social responsibility, corporate governance and information disclosure.
Hong Kong Corporate Governance and ESG Excellence Awards
Hong Kong Corporate Governance and ESG Excellence Awards (formerly known as Hong Kong Corporate Governance Excellence Awards), which have been jointly awarded annually since 2007, aims to set the highest standards of corporate governance and ESG for listed companies in Hong Kong, encourages listed companies to demonstrate corporate governance and ESG policies, strategies and practices, and to share their successful experiences with other listed companies and set market examples.
The evaluation criteria includes?the board’s vision and leadership, strategy development, quality of disclosure and relevance to multiple stakeholder interests. The award-winners?are evaluated andselected by a review?committee comprised of experienced marketing professionals with strong academic support from CCGFP.
The award is not only an affirmation?of GNMI’s continued investment and innovation in ESG field, but also a recognition of our?contribution to promote?social and environmental sustainability. Upon receiving the award, Mr. Yuan Ziyin, President of Capital Market Department of Global New Materials International, expressed that GNMI?will continue to uphold the concept of “Integrity, Innovation, Leadership and Harmony”, and optimize corporate governance, improve ESG management level, and create a better future of sustainable development!
